Welcome to Sbardella Orchards! We are a pick your own apple orchard located in Hampton, New York. (on the NY/VT border) .
Due to the hardships that our friends and neighbors are enduring because of Hurricane Irene, and just the economy in general:
On Saturday Sept. 10th between 10:00am and 5:00pm, we will open one day only and you are welcome to pick for free! We ask that you please pick some extra for people in need and bring them to a charity of your choice such as; your local food shelf, mission, hurricane relief organization, or a family struggling due to the poor economy.
Please bring sturdy boxes or bags as we will not be providing them.
Organizations wishing to accept donated apples at the orchard during this event are welcome to do so. Please have a sign identifying your organization and means to transport the donated apples. It would also be a good idea to bring some boxes or bags to receive apples in.
If you are picking for yourself and are not in need, a small donation to help cover some of our expenses would be greatly appreciated if you are able.
we will be making cider donuts to eat while at the orchard, but will not be able to sell extras. Apple cider by the cup will be available.
